Ickenham & District Society of Model Engineers

*** Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic all formal meetings of the society have been temporarily suspended. ***

*** We will update this website when the situation changes, so please check back regularly for further updates. ***

The society holds regular meetings at our headquarters each week:

Friday Evenings: The main society meeting takes place each Friday evening, commencing at 8pm and lasting about two hours. During the winter months (October to March) a series of organised talks is arranged, but during the summer months these meetings are less formal and advantage is taken of the lighter summer evenings to carry out minor maintenance work about our site.

Monday Evenings: The Model Railway Group meets on Monday evenings (bank holidays excepted), from about 8pm. For more information on this group's activities please see the Model Railway Group page.

Tuesdays: Each Tuesday many retired members (and a few others whose work allows) meet during the day to carry out various club and personal projects and maintenance activities. For many this is an ideal time to make use of club facilities such as the workshop for their own projects, not least because there is quite likely to be someone on hand who can offer advice or assistance.
